Support CodeNomad

CodeNomad is free and open source, maintained by volunteers. Sponsorship pays for the time it takes to fix, release and improve it.

Why sponsor CodeNomad

CodeNomad is released under the MIT license and costs nothing to download or use. Pascal André and Shantur Rathore maintain it in their own time, with contributions from the community. OpenCode is updated independently, so CodeNomad needs regular work just to stay compatible, before any new feature.

What sponsorship pays for

  • Maintenance: fixing reported bugs and keeping CodeNomad compatible with new OpenCode versions.
  • Releases: building, testing and publishing the Windows, macOS and Linux apps.
  • Languages: keeping the interface and this help site current in ten languages.
  • New features, like the work behind Missions, Remote Control and history search.

The long-term goal is for CodeNomad's development to be funded by the people and companies who use it.

Funding policy

  • A sponsorship is a contribution, not a purchase. It buys no features, roadmap influence, support priority or license rights.
  • Sponsors get the same CodeNomad as everyone else. There is no paid edition and no sponsor-only build.
  • Bug reports and feature requests are handled on their merits, whether or not you sponsor.
  • Sponsoring is never required to download, use or update CodeNomad.
  • Each channel names who receives the money. Payment happens on the channel's own site; this help site never sees your payment details.

Sponsor

Each channel's page lets you choose the amount and how often you contribute.

Other ways to help

  • Star the repository and tell people who use OpenCode about CodeNomad.
  • Report a bug with a minimal reproduction.
  • Fix a help page or a translation with the Edit this page link at the bottom of any help page.
  • Contribute code through a focused pull request to dev.
